Blend of youth and experience carries the day for Clonmel Commercials Juniors

The club’s juniors gave a great display of grit and character in overcoming a lively Ballingarry side in their opening game of the South Championship in Kilsheelan on Sunday last. In the game the old adage of goals winning games rang true as Commercials ran in four goals and this was the real difference between winning and losing. Goals from Fergal Condon, Eoin Leahy, Paul Wynne and Paudie White secured the win in a game where old heads were greatly helped by some young legs. 

Large crowd for the Tipp Darts Masters

Last Sunday saw another large crowd gather in Fozzy’s Bar (The Outback) Clonmel, for round five of the Tipperary Masters.

Raft and duck racing planned for river festival

A river festival will be the highlight of the Clancy Brothers Music & Arts Festival’s programme of free community events in Carrick-on-Suir on the June Bank Holiday Weekend.

The New Triangle featuring Niwel Tsumbu (guitar and vocal), Vyvienne Long (cello and vocal) and Roger Doyle (piano) will appear in the Holy Trinity Church of Ireland, Fethard, on this coming Thursday, May 16, at 8pm. Tickets are available from McCarthy's Hotel (086- 8119625) or at the door.

Fethard set to welcome The New Triangle

The New Triangle concert featuring Roger Doyle (piano), Vyvienne Long (cello and vocal) and Niwel Tsumbu (guitar and vocal) will appear in the Holy Trinity Church of Ireland, Fethard, on this coming Thursday, May 16, at 8pm.

Tipp orchestra celebrate end of season with recital

The County Tipperary Ryan Youth Orchestra (CTRYO) celebrated their end of season with a beautiful summer recital at the Excel Arts Centre on Sunday May 5, 2013.

Anna O'Donnell who performs in The Woodcutter and The Princess, which youth theatre group Stagecraft is presenting at The Hub in Albert Street, Clonmel from this evening, Wednesday until Saturday, May 18th.

Double bill of youth theatre set to storm the stage

The youngest members of Stagecraft are busy putting the finishing touches to The Woodcutter and The Princess, which will be followed by Mary Fairy, at The Hub, 49, Albert Street, Clonmel. This delightful double bill runs from Wednesday, 15th to Saturday, 18th May.
