Flower Club celebrates 45th anniversary

Clonmel Flower Club was formed in 1965 and this year celebrates its 45th anniversary. New members are invited to join the club in this special year.
Tuition will be provided by chairperson Mildred Stokes for new members/beginners at each meeting.

The meetings take place on the second Tuesday of each month at the Clonmel Park Hotel at 8pm. Members get the opportunity to view each other's arrangements at these meetings, at which a guest speaker always attends. New members are always welcome.

The first club night of 2010 takes place next Tuesday, February 9th, at 8pm in the Clonmel Park Hotel. The titles for the club competitions are Novice;"A Valentine Posy"  50 cm. Beginners;"For my True Love." 50 cm. Intermediate and Advanced  "Open Heart" 66cm.

Artificial flowers may be used in this month's club competitions. Niamh Falvey (of Lancome] from Sam McCauley Pharmacy will be the speaker at the meeting. Her topic is hand care and the members look forward to her return visit.
