The devastation caused by the recent earthquake in Haiti has touched the hearts of many of us here in Ireland. The images on our TV screens and in the newspapers really bring home the reality of the desolation caused by this tragic natural disaster.
In a response to the urgent plea for aid, the Clonmel Park Hotel has generously offered to donate €1 from every Holy Communion or Confirmation lunch booked with the hotel in the coming months to the Haiti Earthquake Appeal Fund. The hotel will also place donation buckets in public areas around the hotel for those who wish to donate to the cause.
