Blaze at home of Aidan O’Brien

A blaze caused significant damage to the home of internationally renowned race horse trainer Aidan O’Brien at Ballydoyle in Rosegreen last week

However there were no injuries caused to the popular horseman, his family, or any of the famous and valuable horses at the Ballydoyle stables.

The fire service were mobilised at 10pm last Wednesday night, and units responded form Cashel and Cahir fire stations.

The fire was brought under control and the fire service remained at the scene for a number of hours.

The fire is thought to have started in the attic space of the home. The cause of the fire will be investigated by gardai.
