Busy time for Gaelscoil Charraig na Siuire kids

Gaelscoil Charraig na Siuire is taking enrolments for the next academic year starting in September.

Anyone wishing to enrol their child in the school should call to the school for an enrolment form or phone the school at (051) 640366.

Meanwhile, the school’s junior and senior infant classes as well as sixth class students have started eight weeks of swimming.

Second and third class students are being taught tin whistle while fourth and fifth class pupils have discovered a lot about their own history by researching their family tree.

A Green Schools Committee of eight children is being formed at the school.

And Rachel Breathnach, Ros Aine Nic Gearailt and Dylan de Bhal took part very successfully in the County Athletics Championship.
