Carrick students interview author

Comeragh College’s First Year Book Club joined students from more than 100 schools around the country in conducting a live video conference interview with author Marita Conlon-McKenna.

Eager students posed questions to the author ranging from her experience of being a writer and her favoured reading material to questions about her much loved story “Under The Hawthorn Tree”.

Comeragh College students were thrilled Conlon-McKenna answered a number of their questions and they listened carefully to her writing tips. The interview was hosted by C2K in Northern Ireland as part of Comeragh College’s involvement in the Dissolving Boundaries Through Technology Programme. This year the school is linked with Our Lady’s Grammar School in Newry.
