ST. PATRICK’S LADIES GAA CLUB

Under 10’s

Our u10 girls played out an enjoyable challenge game despite the heavy rain in the second half against Fethard on Saturday past in Anner Park Cloneen. The u10 girls county blitz will commence on Saturday, July 7. We have entered two teams and Slievenamon and Mullinahone are also in our group. Further details of the blitz will be given out at training.

Under 12’s

Our u12s continue to train in their build up to the County Semi-final. On going to print they will have played Arravale Rovers with the winners booking their place in the County Final this coming weekend. The club wishes all the girls and mentors Pat, John and Alliaster the very best of luck.

Junior Team

Fixtures for the upcoming championship are still being finalised. St. Patrick’s have been grouped in the D championship and can look forward to quite a few games over July and August. Michael and junior team management encourage all ladies to come out to training and they look forward to the return of several girls who took time out to study for their Leaving.

Good Luck

St. Patricks’ Ladies GAA club and committee would like to extend good luck and best wishes to Fran Vanoli u6 girls mentor, former junior player and current Gaelic for Others player, her daughter Cora who is one of our u6 players, husband Steven and son Alfie as they leave the Drangan area and head to London to pastures new. You will be sorely missed by all your friends in the St. Patrick’s Ladies Club!

CLONEEN SPORTS AND SOCIAL CLUB

The new committee of Cloneen Sports and social work are working hard to set out a new plan of attack to get the building up and booming once again, a tough task in these times but be optimistic. A wish list is being compiled and hopefully a fundraising project - Anyone who signed on to help will be called on.
