BALLYBACON/GRANGE GAA CLUB

SENIOR HURLING

This long awaited relegation semi final took place in Clonmel last Sunday, 5 February between Cashel and Ballybacon Grange before large attendance. Both teams were slow starting with many wide’s from each team.

Cashel ran out winners on a final score of 14 points to 8. We competed well on day but we were missing two of our more experienced players who would have added strength to our young team. Overall it was a good display and gives us hope of better things to come in 2013.

The Relegation Final against Borrisokane is fixed for Templemore next Saturday at 2pm and the winners will stay in the Senior ranks for 2013 with the losers playing Intermediate Hurling for the coming year.
