Well done to Killian Farrell, Bawnbrack, who was awarded “Student of the Year” in Rockwell College this year. He also received an award in Science and Mathematics. Killian is a past pupil of Thomastown NS. We wish Killian all the best in his Leaving Certificate.
Congrats also to Gerard Barlow, Ballymacady, who is a member of the Quasar team from St Ailbes school Tipp who are overall winners of the 2012 Schools Technology challenge. They will represent Ireland in the World Championships in the Autumn against the National winners from 32 countries around the world.

This years Cul Camp will be held from July 23 to July 27. Cost is €55 for one child, €45 for second child and €40 for third or subsequent children. If you register online at www.kelloggsculcamp.gaa.ie there is a reduction of €5 per child.
Best of Luck to the Golden U11 hurlers in the Co. Semi final in Dundrum this week. Also well done to the Thomastown U13 hurlers who had a fine win over Clonoulty in the Co. Quarter final. They will now play Annacarthy in the Co. Semi final this week.
