SOLOGHEAD GAA

In the opening round of the U21B West Football championship played on Friday night last, the Cappawhite/Sologhead combination were defeated by Eire Og on a score line of 2-9 to 1-4.

Representing Sologhead on the team included goalie Kevin Burns, Joseph Riordan, Eoin Riordan, Damien Ryan (C), Christopher Ryan (S) and Aidan Coffey.

Next game is against the Kickhams this Sunday, February 19th, in Sean Treacy Pk, throw in 2pm.

DOWN YOUR WAY

This Friday night, February 17, everyone are asked to come along to the Bit and Bridle, Limerick Junction, where Eamonn O’Dwyer and Tipp FM are recording an episode of Down Your Way which is set to get underway at 9pm.

So if you have any item on past or present Sologhead GAA Club affairs or indeed any story or account of our parishes history then come along we want to hear it.

SELF HELP AFRICA
