Three cheers and congratulations to those members of the Kilbehenny Cycling Club who took part in the Ring of Kerry Charity Cycle on Saturday last.

Special congratulations go to our local father and son team of Anthony and Kieran Caplice who both completed the arduous cycle of 170 kilometres in a great time of 6 hours and 28 minutes.

The trip from Killarney via Killorglin, Cahirciveen, Waterville, Sneem, Kenmare etc, and on around the ring to Killarney once again is a strenuous undertaking even by car, so to cycle it is a wonderful feat.

Well done, Lads! A day to remember for sure! The cycle trip was for several charities, and Anthony and Kieran would like to thank all their sponsors on the day.
