The late Jim O'Meara, St. Patrick's Place, who died on October 19, 2012

The late Jim O’Meara

The death has occurred on Friday, October 19, of Jim O’Meara of St Patricks Place, Fethard. Jim was a very popular
member of Fethard Community and very active in sporting circles, in particular, Fethard Sports Centre in the 1970s and again in 1987-88 when the season saw a very welcome revival of handball at the centre culminating in Jim O’Meara winning the Masters 40x20 County Championship title. Jim was also an active member and supporter of Fethard & Killusty Community Games, Fethard GAA and Killusty Soccer Club.

Our sympathy to his daughter Norah, sons Denis, Willie and Jimmy, extended family and friends. Interment took place in Calvary Cemetery.
