Snakes to come alive at The Big 1 in Cahir on Sunday, April 21

The organisers of the pet show which will take place at The Big 1 covered market in Cahir on Sunday, April 21, are delighted to announce that the Pop-Up Reptile Zoo will be attending on the day, from 12 noon to 3pm.

There will be creatures that can be handled by both children and adults, and this should prove to be a great attraction for young and old.

The judging of the pets will take place in two sessions: the first, for small pets but excluding dogs, will have entries taken from 9am with judging starting at 10am; the second session, for big animals plus dogs, has entries taken from 1pm and judging starting at 2pm.

There will be special prizes for the most unusual pet and for the best group of one species - say three or more rats, for instance. If readers know anyone with unusual pets, please make sure they are aware of this show. It would be great to make it a regular feature.
