EXPOSITION

Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament will be held in St. Nicholas Church, Solohead on this Friday June 1, from 9.30 a.m. to 10.30 a.m.

SACRISTAN COLLECTION

The annual collection for our sacristan, Nuala Perry will take place this weekend June 3/4. We are very fortunate to have a person like Nuala taking care of our Church, a lot of her work is unseen, but Nuala is always on hand preparing for different ceremonies and the Church is a credit to her.

This is an opportunity to express our appreciation of her work and subscribe generously.

PILGRIMAGE

Shrines of France October 14-21. Booking is now taking place. For information and booking, contact Caitriona at 086 2112011. €200 non-refundable booking secures place.

OPEN DAY

Enrolment for the new school year, 2012-2012, is now taking place in Newtown National School. Forms can be obtained from the school or on 062 33413. There will be an Open Day for incoming Junior infants on this Wednesday May 30, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon.

MONARD SCHOOL

R.T.E.’s Kitchen Hero Chef, Donal Skehan, will hold a cookery demonstration in Ballykisteen Hotel, on tonight Wednesday May 30, at 8 p.m. Tickets available through the Hotel or the School. Proceeds towards Monard School Building Project.

OUTING

The parish outing takes place on June 27 to Salthill, more details later.

COLLECTION

Cappawhite Multeen Fas wish to thank all who subscribed to their Church collection last weekend.
