Autumn schedule at Arts Centre

Launch of the Autumn Schedule of events for the South Tipperary Arts Centre, Nelson Street, Clonmel.

Children’s Art/Craft Classes - Tuesday, 11th September for 7 weeks, Age 7 years to 10 years approximately; 3.30pm to 5pm each Tuesday with Georgina. €60 (deposit €20 to secure place).

Wednesday, 12th September for 7 weeks, Age 8 years to 12 years approximately; 4pm to 5pm each Wednesday with Elke. €50 (deposit €20 to secure a place).

Thursday, 13th September for 7 weeks, Age 7 years to 10 years approximately; 3.30pm to 5pm each Thursday with Georgina. €60 (deposit €20 to secure a place).

Friday, 14th for 6 weeks, Age 8 years to 12 years approx; €50 (deposit €20 to secure a place).

A discount is available for families of two or more children. Booking is essential for all the classes as places are very limited. Contact the Reception at 052-6127877.

Morning Classes for Adults - Wednesday, 12th September from 10.30am to 12.30pm. Textile workshop with Lesley Lynch: an in-depth 6 week course of decorative stitching, painting and dying fabrics and demos. Basic materials will be supplied. €120 (deposit of €50 to be paid to the Arts Centre. Balance to be paid at first workshop). Contact Lesley at 087-2603753.

Thursday, 13th September, 10.30am to 12.30pm. Oil/Acrylic painting for Beginners and Improvers with Ann Brennan: An 8 week workshop that includes Colour Theory, Perspective, Creative Techniques, Experimentation and Demos. €E100 (deposit of €E30 to be paid into the Arts Centre. Balance is to be paid at the first workshop). Contact Ann at 086-3292086. Booking is essential for both classes as places are limited. Contact the tutors and the reception at 052-6127877.

The South Tipperary Arts Centre, Nelson Street, Clonmel is now under the voluntary managership of Maureen Purcell, Organiser of the South Tipp Art Group (STAG) at the moment. Any enquiries to reception at 052-6127877.

The studio upstairs in the Arts Centre is now open for renting on a morning, afternoon and evening basis. Contact 086-8096823 for details.

The Arts Centre is open Tuesday to Friday from 10am to 5pm. It’s open during lunchtime and on Saturday from 12 noon to 4pm until further notice.
