On Saturday night the Festival Mass will be held in St. Thomas the Apostle church at 7pm. In attendance will be the participants in the Queen of the Green.

On Sunday at 1.30pm come and enjoy all the fun at the fair. As usual it promises to be a great day out for all the family young and not so young with something to interest all. The trip to Ballydoyle is a treat for anyone who is interested in horses and the general lay out of the stately house and paddocks. The dog show commences at 3pm for all breeds. Great prizes to be won at the ever popular wheel of fortune. At 4.30pm a monster auction will be held with great bargains to had including 40 loads of the best firewood. All the usual side shows will be up and running all day. There will be an under 8’s hurling blitz commencing at 1.30pm. Later on children’s sports, married men’s and ladies races, glamorous granny, cake sale, local garden produce and a large selection of garden plants and shrubs will be on sale at bargain prices.

We are looking for cakes for the cake sale and items for the auction and bric a brac, these can be dropped into the hall on the Saturday or contact Pat on 087 2204034.
