Glitz and glamour promised at Lions Fashion Spectacular

Plans are well advanced for Cashel Lions Club’s “Fashion Spectacular” on Wednesday, February 15, in Brú Ború Cashel.

A variety of fashion outlets are showcasing their new 2012 male and female spring collections. Davern’s, Golden Threads, Kilkenny Shop and Uptown Girl from Cashel are joined by Born and She Fashions from Thurles, Jeruso Fashions from Fethard and Frocks on the Rocks from the horse-racing world.

A night of glitz and glamour is promised with Irish super-model Pippa O’Connor (sister of show-jumper Cian O’Connor and grand-daughter of rugby legend Karl Mullen) from the Andrea Roche Model Agency, joining a host of well-known local models.

The night kicks off with a wine and cheese reception at 7pm with the show starting at 8pm sharp. Some highlights promised on the night include a competition for the “Best Dressed Person” and also a raffle incorporating a selection of stunning prizes, including a gorgeous Peter Curling print kindly donated by the local artist himself.

So if you are looking for the perfect Valentine’s present then look no further than tickets for what promises to be a fabulous night out. Tickets are available from the participating fashion outlets, from Lions Club members and from Brú Ború on 062 61122.
