Carrick-on-Suir Musical Society has issued an appeal for hairdressers to join its back stage team for its landmark 100th show - West Side Story.

The Society is looking for hairdressers who can do 1950s style hair or would like to learn how to do these hair styles for cast members starring in the show that opens at The Strand Theatre in Carrick-on-Suir on Saturday, March 2 and runs until Saturday, March 9.

Hairdressers interested in taking on this challenge should contact The Strand Theatre by phone or call in any evening after 7pm.

The Society is also looking for donations of unwanted hair pieces and toupees for the show.

Tickets for the show go on sale at The Strand Theatre box office this Thursday, February 14.

There are a number of methods of booking tickets. You can call to the Theatre between 11am and 12pm or 2pm and 4pm from Monday to Saturday; telephone the box office on (051) 645050 or book online at www.carrickmusicals.com.
