Local and loyal customers were treated to a special evening at the launch of the new Volkswagon Up! recently at Pierse Motors in Tipperary Town. With some very special guests in attendance the good people at Pierse Motors hosted an exciting event to officially unveil the new model, and thank their customers for their support over the past year. The event saw an impressive turn-out of Tipperary and Limerick locals keen to celebrate the occasion and take a first look at the stylish and cleverly compact city car.

Guests enjoyed refreshments from local Italian bistro Bella Italia, with entertainment from a daring fire-breather and music from popular cover band, The Snails.

Gary Pierse of Pierse Motors Ltd said they really value the support from the local community and this was a lovely opportunity to thank customers and showcase the new car.

Pierse Motors Ltd was founded by Gerry and Arthur Pierse in 1980 and has been a key Volkswagen dealer in Ireland for over 30 years. Their present location on the Limerick Road was opened in March 2003 and is the third development Pierse Motors Ltd has made in the past 26 years. The company has gone from strength to strength and currently employs 28 people from the local area.

Pierse Motors Ltd is heavily involved in the local community, sponsoring four under-age sports teams to include Clanwilliam Rugby Club; St David’s Lattin Soccer Club; Oola Ladies GAA; Knockavilla and Donaskeigh Kickhams.
