The popular Willy Russell comedy “Stags and Hens” will be staged at Carrick-on-Suir’s Brewery Lane Theatre for two nights next month.

Down The Rabbit Hole Theatre Group are bringing the play to Brewery Lane on December 3 and 4.

This fast paced, funny and sometimes poignant comedy from the playwright, whose other works include “Blood Brothers” and “Shirley Valentine” is set in the grotty toilets of a 1980s nightclub and deals with what happens when the hen and stag parties from the same wedding arrive at the same night club.

It features a drunk groom, a bride who is having second thoughts, a handsome ex-boyfriend who is now the lead in a pop band and a group of loud, feisty and superstitious friends.

The production was recently at Raheen House in Clonmel where it received rave reviews from theatre goers.

“Stags and Hens”starts at 8pm on both nights and is for over-15s only.

Tickets cost E15 and are available either at the door on the night or by telephoning (086) 061092. Also, please note that this play is for over fifteen’s only. Further information on the production is available on Down The Rabbit Hole Theatre Group’s website www.therabbitholetheatregroup.com
