Dominic Kirwan’s introduction to entertainment came when he was an enthusiastic and successful Irish dancer with the much respected Seamus Kerrigan School Of Irish Dancing and was successful as an Ulster minor dance Champion.

His first major step towards the big time came in 1989 when he was signed to the Ritz record label, which boasted many of Ireland’s major recording artists. This was a successful partnership lasting 15 years and saw Dominic notching up sales in excess of over 1 million albums, videos and DVDs.

This association also gave him the springboard needed to take to the road touring the UK extensively. Every year Dominic takes on an exhausting touring schedule seeing his excellent live shows sell out the world over including Australia and New Zealand. He is also proud to have toured with some of the greats including Charlie Pride, Tammy Wynette and Kenny Rogers.

Dominic Kirwan will be on stage for a rare local appearance at The Times Hotel in Tipperary town on this coming Sunday night, September 9.
