Rehearsals are underway by a group of Scoil Ruáin, Killenaule students who will compete in the Munster final of the ‘All Ireland School’s Got Talent Search’ this coming weekend.

‘We Looked like Giants’ have already been through three rounds of the competition within County Tipperary and are one of just three remaining out of the original 127 who entered the competition in Tipperary last October.

The group comprises Third Year students Jessica Brett and Teresa Lanigan; Fifth Years Conor Cuddihy, Séan Bermingham and Shane O’Connell and Sixth Year students Kieran Murphy and Paul Gayson.

The Munster Final of the competition takes place this Saturday, January 26 at The South Court Hotel, Limerick, with doors opening at 7pm. Those going through to the next round of the competition will be decided using a mixture of judging by a panel and the audience.

One act taking part will go straight through to the National Final of the competition which will take place at The Helix, Dublin on March 17. The other twelve acts will go to the semi-final of the competition to be held next month.

Support for these students would be greatly appreciated and all proceeds of the entire competition go to the ISPCC and Childline.
