Another evening of acoustic performances from a group of up and coming singer/songwriters was held recently at The Common Thread Cafe, Parnell Street, Clonmel.

James Dillon, Kate Twohig and Steven Sharpe performed, as well as local band Responsible Looking Freaks.

Such a small, intimate setting for these performances provides a more casual location for more seasoned players and a perfect starting point for newcomers.

These nights have been running monthly since January this year, showcasing both local and national talent and have been very successful and fun evenings.

The next showcase will take place in the cafe in early November. Anyone interested in performing can mail eoinh@junctionfestival.com.
