Sleeping Beauty to wake at Halla na Feile

Cashel Pantomime Society is back again with their colourful production of Sleeping Beauty.

Cashel Pantomime Society is back again with their colourful production of Sleeping Beauty.

There is an air of excitement in Halla na Feile at present as cast and chorus are putting the final touches to this years show, under the guidance of producer John Hally who is also on stage this year playing one of the spies!

The wonderful cast is full of fresh faces never with the society before, in fact just five of them are past cast members. The bubbly and colourful chorus are under the direction of Leah Skelly and this years musical director Kevin Carroll.

Stage manager Johnny Fogarty has his crew in place and he has a lot of work done to ensure props and set are ready to go. Damien McCarron once again has done a marvellous job designing stage scenery and props. Without the help of individuals like these our show could not take place. The young dancers come from Anne O’Dwyer’s school of dance. We welcome and thank Anne once again for her wonderful input into our show.

Behind the scenes there has been a lot of work put in by the chairperson Trisha Shelly and her committee. A big thank you to everyone it is going to be a wonderful show.
