Following a hugely successful season of plays in May and June, the team at Stagecraft are opening their doors to new members.

Their summer programme Musical Mania is one of the highlights of their year-long activities for young people in South Tipperary.

This annual project runs from late June through to September and introduces the young people to singing, acting and dance, all the skills needed to perform a showcase of some of the greatest musicals ever written at the end of the summer.

This year’s project will be directed by Jack Reardon, musical direction is by Kate Twohig, choreography by Lucy Fitzgerald and the process will be assisted by Katie Keyes.

Stagecraft has established a long tradition of providing young performers with the highest standards of training and this is encouraged in a fun, non- pressurised environment where the young people can truly blossom.

Musical Mania is an ideal chance for our members to learn new skills, make new friends and entertain, the perfect way to keep the young minds busy. Stagecraft is renowned for making fun accessible theatre by young people and is one of Ireland’s largest and most innovative youth arts organisations. To get involved in Musical Mania sign up at www.stagecraftyt.com or call Shane Dempsey on 087-9476968. Book early to avoid disappointment, as places are limited. Stagecraft is affiliated to NAYD, the umbrella organisation for the promotion of youth drama in Ireland.
