Glowing tributes are still being paid to Linda O’Brien

Glowing tributes are still being paid to Linda O’Brien after her sudden passing on February 23, 2012. The tragic death of 26 year old Linda from Ballinulty, Cullen, Co. Tipperary shocked the community earlier this year when on her return from a trip to New York, with her special friends Aoife and Orla Ryan, she was met off the train at Limerick Junction by her father Johnny where she fell ill and tragically passed away.

This very popular and friendly young lady was educated in Monard N.S., St Anne’s Secondary school, Tipperary and the Limerick Institute of Technology. Linda worked in Toomey’s shop in Monard and participated in the 2007 Pride of Tipperary representing the Hide Out Pub, Sologhead. That September Linda headed off to Australia for a year where she made many friends and enjoyed many new experiences and on her return she worked in Joe Whelan’s Toymaster, Tipperary Town, and Tipperary Town Pharmacy, Dunnes stores. Everything Linda did during her life was done with a truly brilliant radiant smile that brought joy and happiness to everyone young and old. There is some solace for her friends and family in that she lived her young life to the full and took opportunities that were presented to her with enthusiasm and joy. Continued support and deepest sympathy is still being offered to the family from friends, neighbours and the community.
