A “Taste of Thailand” night in Ruen Mying Thai Restaurant, Lowergate Street, Cashel, will take place this Wednesday evening, May 30, at 8pm in aid of this worthy cause.

You can look forward to a great evening, the food is excellent and very healthy because of the many herbs used in Thai cooking.

This lovely restaurant opened in Cashel three years ago and the chef has worked in many parts of the world. He offers great value for money and you are welcome to bring your own wine or a pint from Brosnan’s next door.

Lucy Foley, from Cashel Wine Cellar, Friar Street, is offering a wine promotion on the night. You can pop into Lucy on your way, have a taste of suitable wines, chilled to go and good value. There is also plenty of choice in all the local supermarkets. To be allowed to bring your own wine is an excellent idea and makes eating out affordable for those who enjoy wine with their meal.
