Belly Bang returns for its third year to Clonmel this August.

The team have been working extra hard to deliver an experience like the town has never seen.

For two days on August 23-24 the Piper Inn will be host to over 30 of Ireland’s best bands and a collection of amazing original art.

Says Stephen McGrath - “Bands playing on the weekend include Crow Black Chicken who will have just returned from a two week tour of Texas with the legendary Ray Wylie Hubbard, Radioactive Grandma, winners of the MRU best album 2012 award, and favourites from last year such as Fox E and Zhora return along with many more new acts.”

This year Belly Bang have chosen to donate the proceeds of the two day event to SVDP Clonmel.

“We feel that the Clonmel SVDP were the perfect charity to support this year as they assist such a broad range of individuals and families financially in the area. Charities on a local level need support more than ever and we hope that this year’s festival can add to the SVDP Clonmel resources” says Tara Moriarty, Bellybang.

To coincide with this year’s festival Belly Bang will be adding a third stage for youths at Place 2 Bee which will take place on August 23 and 24. Bands such as Superblondes, Featuring X, The Radioactive Grandma and She’s a Beauty among more unsigned bands will be playing at this event.
