St. John the Baptist Girls’ School was alive with music over three nights last week as the pupils staged “That’s what Friends are For.”

All 290 pupils took part in the razzamattazz. Junior and Senior Infants stole the show with their songs such as ‘Friends are like Flowers’ and the old favourite ‘S A N T A.’ First and Second Class proved that friends can be found in many places like in a yellow submarine and even Rudolf made an appearance. Third and Fourth Class reminded us that the best things in life like friendship are free and treated the audience to “Under the Sea” and “Whistle while you work”. Fifth and Sixth Class drew the show to a spectacular close with a display of song, dance and hilarious sketches.

Congratulations to all involved in the production!
