The Parents Association of The Deanery School, Cashel will be hosting a fundraising concert in Brú Ború on September 26, at 8pm, and invite everyone to come and enjoy a wonderful evening of entertainment whilst supporting a worthy local cause.

The highly acclaimed, award-winning, classical-crossover superstars Affintí will be performing, along with two amazing local supporting acts, The Cashel Community School Choir and Thomas Grogan.

Recently making headline news as the personally-requested performers to Donald Trump, and starring on RTE’s Saturday Night Show, the three talented musicians, Emer (tenor), Aisling (harp) and Mary (violin) will amaze you as they effortlessly transform modern and traditional pop songs into the classical genre.

The evening will be packed with talent as Cashel native Thomas Grogan captures the audience with his dramatic solo pieces and The Cashel Community Choir, whose profile was recently elevated when they performed for Queen Elizabeth II at the Rock of Cashel in 2012, perform several pieces, some with Affinití themselves.

Tickets are only €20; fantastic value for this truly unmissable event.

All monies raised will go towards The Deanery School Parents Association, whose continuous improvements and support to the school are invaluable. Last year’s fundraising efforts, for example, ensured a new playground for the pupils to enjoy for years to come.

Both the Parents Association and teachers of The Deanery welcome you to purchase tickets early to prevent disappointment; available at Brú Ború Box Office 06261122, The Deanery School 06261833 and Spearman’s Bakery and Tearooms 06261143. Tickets available online at www.bruboru.ie
