Blame Sally are on a mini-European tour to promote their fourth studio album, Speeding Ticket and a Valentine, and a recent live DVD/CD. This release was voted album of the year in the Alternate Roots Magazines Peoples Choice Awards. Blame Sally are an all-female folk-pop quartet from San Francisco, consisting of Pam Delgado, percussion, guitar, vocals; Renee Harcourt, guitar, bass, banjo, harmonica and vocals; Jeri Jones, guitar, bass, dobro, mandolin and vocals; and Monica Pasqual, piano, keyboards, accordion, melodica and vocals. They are joined on this Irish tour by ace bass player Rob Strom.

The band recently signed a six-figure record deal with US Label 9th Street Opus records, recognition of their magical sound, extraordinary songwriting and fanatical following all across America.

They’ve already colonised mainland Europe and now they’re on their way to Ireland for the first time. Beautiful harmonies, intricate instrumental work, smart lyrics and gently energised rhythms mark the songs of this band.

The four women are each veteran musicians and songwriters in their own right and together they create soulful, complex and finely crafted music.

With multiple lead singers and songwriters, Blame Sally can easily move in Americana, folk, country and rock circles.

Doors for the Blame Sally gig will open at 8pm. There will be no support act and the band will start at 9pm sharp. This ensures the gig will finish before 11pm. Tickets are only €15 each and are available in the Premier Music Centre, Clonmel on 052-6129811.
