Munster Martial Arts Coming to Tipperary Town

Munster Martial Arts has grown to become Irelands leading Martial Arts School with a proven track record and credentials to be proud of and it is now coming to Tipperary Town with new classes opening at St Josephs Primary School. Munster Martial Arts teaches Tang Soo Do Korean Karate with kickboxing both integrated into same classes making the classes a really unique and enjoyable experience for students.

Recently a team of students from the organization travelled to the Tang Soo Do World Championships in Wales where the 12 student team represented Ireland competing against 1065 competitors from 17 different countries. The Irish team which included some students from Tipperary won 11 medals. The team coach and also instructor for Tipperary Town classes is Master Pat Forde who was also Irish Team Coach for the 2009 World Championships when his students won 5 medals. Munster Martial Arts were recently honored at a moyoral reception in Limerick City Hall and their student achievements have also been honored in the past winning a Bank of Ireland Student Achievement Award. Master Pat Forde has many years of experience working with young people and has also featured on national media for his work with young people including Limerick 95, Tipperary radio, NewsTalk, Irish Fighter Magazine and was also featured recently in the Irish Independent by David Coleman.

Munster Martial Arts students have an outstanding list of achievements which fantastic competition results both nationally and internationally. Of course not all students wish to compete but every student receives the same level of instruction regardless of their personnal goals. Recently students have also had the opportunity to train with friend of the organization the amazing Chloe Bruce who is one of the most recognized female martial artists in the World today and top female competitor in the world. Students also enjoy regular seminars with Grand Master Dominick Giacobbe from the USA who is president of the Intercontinental Tang Soo Do Organistion which Munster Martial Arts is affiliated to(at no extra cost to students).
