Singer Seán Keane is excited with the prospects of making the trip to Clonmel for a one off concert at The Clonmel Park Hotel on Monday, August 25.
“I have heard over the years about the fantastic audiences that come to Clonmel gigs” Seán says, so he is “really looking forward to the night”.
Seán is a very sociable friendly guy and “just loves to meet and chat with concert goers after the gig”.
Seán’s unique voice and passionate style of singing has endeared him to many hearts. He is highly respected both in Ireland and abroad where he has built up a huge fan base.
Seán will sing many of his numerous hit songs “Home”, “I’m no stranger to the Rain”, “Galway to Graceland, “Make you feel my love”,“Fields of Gold” and “Isle of Hope”.
He also says how delighted he is to be joined on the evening by his good friend for many years Louise Morrissey and commented that “although we have know each other for so long these summer shows are the first time we have worked together and we are both really enjoying it”.
Seán said with a smile -“I suppose long threatening comes at last”.
Louise will make a welcome return to her folk roots and her time with the highly successful folk group The Morrisseys. Louise will sing her hits such as the immigration classic “Come back Paddy Reilly” and “September Sky” and many other favourites. Louise says - “I always love singing in County Tipperary where people have such an appreciation of music”
This concert is in association with St. Patrick’s Well Committee and proceeds of the raffle on the night will provide much needed funds for the upkeep of the beautiful St. Patrick’s Well.
The Well is much loved and visited by both locals and tourists alike and the Committee is to be highly praised for the trojan work they do in maintaining this beautiful historical site.
