The South Tipperary Arts Service, in collaboration with Clonmel Junction Festival, presents Transular Paradise by Theatre Ad Infinitum on this Wednesday, 23rd May at 7.30pm for one night only at the White Memorial Theatre. The piece is performed by two actors and one musician, who plays accordion and sings while also elegantly performing on stage the role of stage manager. The two actors who trained in the famous Le Coq school in Paris speak never a word and perform much of the play behind simple masks.  However their physical dialogue and the feeling and intent of the piece is evident, powerful and deeply touching.

Translunar Paradise performed to sell out houses for three weeks in The Barbican Centre in London earlier this year. It will be in Clonmel for just one night between productions in major cities such as Athens, Milan, Jerusalem and Sao Paolo. Tickets are available from the Clonmel Junction Festival Office at Central House, 20 Parnell Street, Clonmel and The Common Thread Cafe at 15, Parnell Street, Clonmel.

You can book by phone on 052-6129339 or online at junctionfestival.com. Tickets can also be purchased at Premier Music, O’Connell Street, Clonmel (tel. 052-6129811). Admission costs €15/€12 on concession.

Festival brochures are available from the County Museum and Libraries. For further information contact the South Tipperary Arts Office, tel. 052- 6134565, e-mail sally.oleary@southtippcoco.ie or www.southtipparts.ie
