The weekly Irish traditional music session performed by Ceolta Feasa at the Clonmel Park Hotel on Thursday week (July 25) will raise funds for the Newcastle community.

The Newcastle night has become a very popular feature of the summer session.

The entertainment is provided by musicians from Comhaltas branches from Powerstown/Lisronagh and Cahir, and dancers from the Kathy McGrath School, Newcastle.

The fun starts at 9pm.

The weekly sessions will continue at the Park Hotel until August 15, every Thursday night, at 9pm.

As this is the year of The Gathering, the group extends a very special welcome to visitors from overseas.

The show comprises a formal stage show and concludes with an informal traditional session, where the audience are encouraged to participate if they wish. The show is produced by Michael Harty and the group is made up of seasoned performers, with new artists joining each year.
