“Back to the ‘80s” is a teen high school love story set to the backdrop of some of the most popular pop hits of the 1980s.

The musical, which is a popular choice for school productions, tells the story of the 1989 graduating class of William Ocean High.

The main character, Corey Palmer, is madly in love with his next door neighbour Tiffany Houston, one of the coolest girls in the school.

However, she barely notices as she is too busy mooning over Michael Feldman - the hottest guy around.

Michael and his friends are athletic and good-looking, the kind of guys that Corey and his two best friends dream of being.

While they may not be the coolest guys in school, they are still one-up on Feargal McFerrin III whose best friend is his computer and he has a ‘crazy’ notion that one day CDs will replace cassette tapes!

The cast includes: Andrew O’Dwyer (Corey Palmer), Oisín O’Connell (Alf), Aidan Keane (Kirk) Seán Dowley (Michael Feldman), Ben O’Shea (Huey), Eoin Barry (Billy), Freddie Doyle (Lionel), Caoimhe Walsh (Tiffany Houston), Ciara Quinlan (Cyndi), Lauryn McAuley (Mel), Julie Walsh (Kim), Jack Hickey (Feargal McFerrin III), Robyn Kerwick (Debbie), Kayleigh Doherty (Laura), Kerri-Ann Whelan (Eileen), Kia O’Toole (Feature Singer 1) and Stacey O Doherty (Feature Singer 2).

Teachers Diane Hyde and James Williams play the roles of Ms Brannigan and Mr Cocker.
