Sunday, April 17, was Ladies Day at Kilcoran Lodge Hotel in aid of Barnardos and a great day was had by all. The ladies all wore the most fabulous outfits with hats and shoes to rival any Paris catwalk. The fashion show was a great success proving you don’t have to travel far for high class fashion, Touch of Klasse, Cahir, Paco, Clonmel and Golden Threads, Cashel were showing their latest collections.
The event was compered by Jim Keane and Don Andrews with entertainment from singer Michael Marnane who could have been mistaken for Daniel O’Donnell at times! The prize for Best Shoes went to Eileen McGloughlin from Cahir who had only bought her shoes in Nada, Clonmel the night before. Prize for the Best Hat went to Ali Broadhurst from Clogheen who hired her hat from Elegant Lady in Cahir and Best Dressed Lady of the day was Sheena Buttimer from Cahir who had her dressed made locally in Clonmel and had bought her head piece from Elegant Lady also.
The event raised over €2,000 for Barnardos and the local Barnardos team from Clonmel were the most successful table in the raffle which we can assure everyone was not a fix. The organisers would like to thank all those who attended and made it such a fun day of Fun, Food, Fashion and Flair.
