Although he maintained a low profile during the early 1990s, performing only rarely in public, Daniels returned to the stage as part of a touring revue, Hucklebuckin’ Again, with Brendan Bowyer and the late Butch Moore, accompanied by siblings Keith McDonald on trumpet and Lorraine McDonald on saxophone and flute, and their group, the Showband Show.

Born in Jubbulpore, India, Daniels grew up in Dublin initially performing with the Memphis Showband later assuming the role of lead singer with The Nevada.

Roly Daniels has real charisma and is a huge hit with the ladies who flock to his shows in big numbers.

He will make a rare local appearance along with Nashville country star Dee Reilly and new kid on the block Jason McGilligan at The Times Hotel, Tipperary on this coming Sunday night, September 2. It should be quite a night
