One of Ireland’s top stars, Jimmy Buckley, a native of Doon, Co Limerick, first made a national impression as the winner of a talent competition on the Secrets RTE show hosted by the late Gerry Ryan.

Having then spent a number of years gaining an apprenticeship on the rocky waters of the Irish entertainment scene, he cracked the big time with hit song ‘Your Wedding Day’ which was penned by former manager Henry McMahon.

His first DVD ‘Live In Concert’ captured the DVD of the year award in 2007 and has been shown coast to coast on U.S television on more than one occasion.

Now, with several hit songs under his belt, Jimmy is one of the biggest stars on the scene. He is presently very busy in the studio working on a brand new album while his current single, ‘Let’s Go To Vegas’ is a huge hit with local radio listeners.

Jimmy Buckley is sure to be a major attraction for another big night at The Times Hotel, Tipperary on this coming Sunday night, 9th June.
