Pen and Pixel is an annual multimedia exhibition held in the Clonmel campus of the Limerick School of Art and Design (LSAD).
This year’s exhibition launches at LIT Clonmel at 6pm on Thursday, 23rd May. The exhibition will showcase students work in the fields of art, animation, web design, audio, video, games applications and photography. There will also be a kids art section where submissions from primary and secondary level students will feature under the categories of 2D Art and Graphic Design.
With all of this work and prizes awarded on the night for the winners of each category it promises to be an event not to be missed.
Digital media is a creative, exciting and fast-paced world. It gives students employment prospects in areas ranging from advertising and publishing to animation, computer games and interactive media.
In conjunction with this year’s exhibition the third year students on the Creative Multimedia course will hold a series of workshops that will give an insight into the ever-evolving areas of Digital Media and Animation. These workshops are open to all second-level schools in the area.
Admission to the exhibition is free and all are welcome to attend.
