The Sand Park, a new play written and performed by Seamus O’Rourke is currently touring nationwide and is at the Simon Ryan Theatre Tipperary Excel on Saturday May 11 for one night only.
The Sand Park is the sometimes hilarious account of how James Anthony Lowery, a man in his mid-fifties, comes to terms with the death of his son fifteen years ago and now more recently, his wife Rose.
It’s a play about rural Irish life and the way we cope with the inevitable.
It’s a play about the fun of life, the ritual of death and what happens when either one is altered. To book tickets telephone 062 80520 or call to reception
