Hard rock blues band Crow Black Chicken, of which two members are from Clonmel, are heading off to Texas this summer on tour with Texas singer songwriter Ray Wylie Hubbard who recently featured on the David Letterman show.

Hard rock blues band Crow Black Chicken, of which two members are from Clonmel, are heading off to Texas this summer on tour with Texas singer songwriter Ray Wylie Hubbard who recently featured on the David Letterman show.

They were invited over by Ray personally to play some dates with him around Texas and are doing some of their own shows in New Orleans while they are there.

Before they travel, the band play the Piper Inn, Clonmel on July 13.

They are just back from performing at Glastonbury and are doing a couple of shows before they go to Texas.

They also play Whelan’s in Dublin on Saturday July 20.

The expected sell-out Whelan’s show is to celebrate the release of their Electric Soup Deluxe Edition which includes the critically acclaimed debut album and live DVD of their album launch in Whelan’s Live (July 2012).

Crow Black Chicken and their adoring fans welcome you to the mass celebration before flying to Texas, Oklahoma and New Orleans (USA) where they will embark on a two-week tour with the brilliant Ray Wiley Hubbard.
