Cashel marks Eucharistic Congress

Holy Family Monstrance

Holy Family Monstrance

Tuesday, May 22, was a special Day of Prayer in St John the Baptist Parish Church. The Holy Family Monstrance which will be used at next week’s Eucharistic Congress in Dublin visited Cashel and was used for the adoration.

This ornate Monstrance was inspired and commissioned by Noel Dore, of Durras, West Cork, a member of St Joseph’s Young Priests Society.

The Monstrance has visited many parishes throughout the country in the lead-up to the International Congress in Dublin.
