Special thanks to the School Board of Management and to the caretaker who went to so much trouble to have everything in order and to the ladies for the welcome refreshments. This was an excellent venue which we would love to use again. We are also very grateful to Maureen Purcell and her panel of judges who are always very supportive and have a difficult task selecting the winners.

This year was no exception with approximately 200 children taking part. Lattin Cullen area did very well taking a major share of the spoils including a hat trick for the Carew family with Aine, Leah and Shane all winning gold medals.

This was Shane’s fourth year in a row to win gold in the county. Cianan Lawlor, St Mary’s will represent Tipperary at the HSE National Finals for the fifth consecutive year. Mullinahone and Fethard-Killusty areas all did very well and there was a good spread of medals overall.
