Sean, who spent a week in Sioux Falls before travelling on to Milwaukee and Chicago told ‘The Nationalist’ that it was amazing to see the huge interest that there is in all things Irish in South Dakota.

Also performing at the Festival was a traditional group, a ballad group, pipers, and an Irish dance troupe, all from the Sioux Falls area.

Sean was also informed while on his tour of the US that Glanbia will be opening a large
facility in the Mid West city shortly, a business initiative which will enhance even further the sense of Irishness in the city.

Dan visits Clonmel to play Carey’s Bar, Irishtown, on this Thursday, Friday and Saturday 26-28 September. Sean says that ‘Dan is a fantastic singer, guitarist and songwriter and has played with Kenny Rogers and Merle Haggard and is an act not to be missed.’
