The present Fethard Players had their roots in the Fethard Dramatic Society, which was formed in 1913, and continued on since under the titles of The Sodality Players, The Tirry Players, and since 1940, The Fethard Players.

This year’s production ‘Miss Rose White’ is set in 1940s New York and a tale of the relationship between two sisters. Rose White, Jewish woman who changes her name to appear far removed from her Polish heritage. Her sister had to remain in Poland. Good news arrives. The sister is coming to America. The play is produced by Austin O’Flynn. The cast includes Niamh Ryan, Jimmy O’Sullivan, Anne Connolly, Colm McGrath, Geraldine McCarthy, Maeve Moclair.
