Shop in Clonmel and support local jobs

The Chamber of Commerce is asking businesses to display its ‘Shop in Clonmel – Support Local Jobs’ posters to remind people of the importance of making their purchases locally. The cold snap last year had a detrimental effect on local businesses, with many shoppers turning to online sites to purchase presents. Also the tendency of many people to travel to Cork, Waterford and other further afield for Christmas shopping has had, and continues to have, a negative impact on the local economy.
