Valerie O’Reilly is new president of Chamber of Commerce

Valerie O’Reilly, representing Unicorn PR, was elected president of Clonmel Chamber of Commerce at the organisation’s AGM at The Main Guard last week. She replaces Tina Mulhearne, who held the position for three years.

Valerie O’Reilly, representing Unicorn PR, was elected president of Clonmel Chamber of Commerce at the organisation’s AGM at The Main Guard last week. She replaces Tina Mulhearne, who held the position for three years.

Ms.O’Reilly, a Clonmel native, has been a board member of the Chamber since 2009.

“The Chamber movement prides itself on being ‘in business for business’ and I, in my new role as President of the Clonmel Chamber, am committed to achieving this objective for all our members. By fostering entrepreneurial excellence, challenging the traditional ways of doing business and championing the spirit of innovation and imagination, I, the Board and the CEO will endeavour to offer real and tangible opportunities for our members into the future”, she said.

The new president will serve for the coming year with the board of directors.

Tina Mulhearne and Jim Kavanagh both stepped down from the board at the AGM and were thanked for their work on behalf of the organisation.
