World MS Day 2013 will take place this Wednesday May 29th.

MS Ireland, the services, research and information society for people with MS is encouraging people in County Tipperary to organise an MS Ireland Tea Party in May or June and raise funds for vital services in the community. This World MS Day the theme is ‘Share a motto that gives you strength in challenging times’. To take part in World MS Day and raise awareness of multiple sclerosis, visit www.ms-society.ie and share a personal motto.

This year, the focus is on Young People with MS. Multiple Sclerosis is the most common disabling neurological condition affecting young people in Ireland. More than 8,000 people live with MS in Ireland.
