Minister for the Environment, Community & Local Government Alan Kelly has welcomed the announcement by Eircom of the creation of
375 apprentice and graduate jobs.
Minister Kelly said - “This is a huge investment by the company.
“These apprentices and graduates will be at the frontline of technological development in Ireland. They will help build and develop Ireland’s communications network into the future.
“The Apprentice Programme will generate 300 jobs commencing in 2015 and running for two years leading to a Level 6 FETAC award. Following the successful completion of each two year programme, top performers will be offered full time roles with Eircom.
